The air pressure generated by the compressed air source is adjusted to a suitable working pressure by the air pressure regulator, and then transported to the pneumatic actuator through a pipeline.
Pneumatic actuator: The pneumatic actuator is the core component of the manipulator, and a cylinder is usually used as the actuator. A piston is installed inside the cylinder, and the compressed air supplied by the air source drives the piston to reciprocate in the cylinder, thereby realizing the manipulator’s grasping, clamping, lifting and placement operations. The working modes of the cylinder are mainly single-acting cylinders and double-acting cylinders, which are used in different working scenarios.
